What is Listavita?
Listavita is an app for organizing medications, treatment plans, reminders, and dose history — for yourself and the people you care for.
Do I need an account?
No. Listavita doesn't require an account or sign-in. You can start using it immediately.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Every feature works without an internet connection, because Listavita doesn't depend on a server to function.
Where is my medical information stored?
On your device, encrypted at rest. It is not uploaded to a server, because Listavita doesn't run one.
Is my information encrypted?
Yes, your data is encrypted at rest on your device. See the Privacy page for a plain-language explanation and its realistic limits.
Can I use it for more than one person?
Yes. Listavita supports multiple patients on one device — for example, yourself, your kids, or a parent you're caring for — kept separately from each other.
Does it support long-term or lifelong medications?
Yes. A treatment can be set up as ongoing or lifelong, with no end date, for conditions like long-term blood pressure management.
Does it support short-term treatments?
Yes. A treatment can also have a fixed duration, like a week or two — the app tracks it separately from any long-term treatments you're also managing.
Does Listavita give medical advice?
No. Listavita is an organizational and adherence tool. It does not diagnose conditions, recommend treatments, or recommend dosages — those decisions are always yours and your healthcare provider's.
Will it work on my iPhone or Android phone?
Listavita is built for both iOS and Android.
Can I move my data to a new phone?
Yes, if you make a backup first. A backup is encrypted on your phone and opened with a recovery key the app generates and you keep. Without a backup, your data stays on the phone it was entered on — there is no copy anywhere else.
Can it scan a prescription for me?
Not yet. Prescription scanning is a planned feature — see the Features page for what's available today versus what's coming later. Every medication is entered by hand for now.
